Mar-Lees hard-shell clams are fresher than live clams in retail stores. It usually takes 5-8 days for live clams to get shelved in stores, where our clams are cooked live and vaccum packed for an 18 month shelf life.
Clams are available in two sizes - 11-16 / 17-22 with pack sizes of 8oz, 1lb, and 5lbs.
